This is the 7th year that this will be taking place allowing lots of money to be raised for various national and local charities as well as allow many to get active and achieve personal goals.

Following the very popular ‘Open Swim’ sessions run during the summer, the pool committee is pleased to announce that as from Saturday 7th September, weekly open swim sessions will run each Saturday from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

From 1 Sept FIRST will run the evening and daytime number 10 services. Return tickets bought during the day (and season tickets) will now be valid in the evening, saving users money. Please Read More for details of the new timetable.

Gleeson Homes have put in an outline planning application for land south of the A166 (behind David Wilson /Saxongate ) to build up to 96 dwellings. At present we do not know the situation so members of the Parish Council are going to meet with the planning officer in early May and will report back to Council and the public at the May PC meeting.
