Update: The New Inn Pub Car Park (formerly Swordsman), Stamford Bridge

Dear Residents,

We’ve been notified by contractors, on behalf of Samuel Smith’s Ltd, that rising bollards will soon be installed at the entrance of the New Inn Pub car park to address concerns about unauthorized parking. We understand that this may raise questions or concerns about traffic flow and how this might affect the look and feel of our village.

Please know that we have shared these concerns with the relevant parties. However, as this is private land, we are simply passing on the information we have at this time. We want to reassure you that we will continue to communicate any feedback we receive on your behalf.

Signs will be posted in advance of any work, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more details.
